Returns Policy
At Tinnitots, we want you to shop with confidence. Here's everything you need to know about returns and exchanges.
Change of Mind Returns
We accept eligible items back for exchange or store credit (issued as a gift voucher) within 30 days of receiving your order, provided all of the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused and in its original condition
- All original tags, accessories, and documentation are intact
- The item is in its original, undamaged packaging in fully re-saleable condition
- The item was purchased at full price — sale items, discounted items, items purchased with a discount code, preorders, and gift voucher purchases are not eligible
To start a return, email us at support@tinnitots.com.au with your order number and reason for return. We'll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
Return shipping in Change of Mind return is at the customer's expense. Exchange items must be of equal or greater value to the original item returned.
Once we receive your returned item and confirm it meets the above conditions, we will process your exchange or store credit within 2 business days.
Important — Climbing Frames, Monkey Bars & Montessori Gyms: Inspect Before Assembly
Before assembling any climbing frame, monkey bar set, or Montessori gym, please inspect all components carefully upon delivery.
Cosmetic issues — including scratches, dents, or surface marks — must be reported to us with photos before assembly begins. Once a product has been assembled, we are unable to accept claims for cosmetic damage, as the assembly process can introduce marks that cannot be distinguished from pre-existing ones.
This condition does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to genuine product defects or major failures.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not as described, we will resolve the issue promptly via repair, replacement, or refund — whichever remedy is appropriate under the Australian Consumer Law.
In these cases, return shipping is at our cost. Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue and include photos where possible.
Once we receive your item, we will assess and action the remedy within 2 business days.
Order Cancellations
Once an order is placed, it enters our fulfilment process immediately and we are unable to cancel it. If you need to discuss your order before dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist. Post-delivery, our standard change-of-mind policy applies.
Non-Approved Returns
Items returned to us without prior approval will be sent back to the sender original order address at their cost.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our change-of-mind policy operates alongside — and does not replace — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product:
- Has a major failure or defect
- Does not match its description
